The 11th of October
Today we went to the Lourve, a place where the Mona Lisa and many other famous artworks are kept. To get there we went on a hop on/off bus. On the way we saw heaps of sights around Paris including the Arc de triomph, Notre Dame, Palaces and lots of other stuff. After the Lourve and a very expensive lunch of 45 Euro (4 sandwichs and 4 drinks) we got on the bus back to the Effiel Tower.
We then went on an evening boat ride along the Seine River. It was really interesting and fun. We had some snacks on the boat as well. After another busy day out we came home and went fot a swim and now it;s bed time. Night Night!

The 7th of October
First off sorry we haven't done a blog in a while we've been sooooo busy with all our traveling and plane flights, so right now I'm making this post from Paris.
Anyway on Sunday we went on the train from London to Liverpool. The train took about 3 hours. When we got to Liverpool we gota taxi to our hotel, went for lunch and went shoping in church street. Our hotel were the old Albert docks building that had been converted, they were very nice.
We also went for a walk around the Docks to see what they were like. It was really cool to see how each different place had changed the old buildings, some had kept more of the original building than others. We had a nice relaxing day and didn't see to much but it was fun.

| The view from the top of St Paul's Cathedral |
Today we went to St Paul's Cathedral. Mum
and Daniel climbed about 600 stairs to get to
the right to the top. It was very tiring. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside but it was incredible. The whispering gallery was my favourite because if you whispered into the wall you could hear it all the way around the other side of the room. The wispering gallery is a circle room that has a diameter of 30.2m.
We also went to Oxford street today and it was packed!! You could hardly walk around. Mum and I went into a shop called Primark, where they had really cheap clothes, but the shop was almost as packed as the street, which made it really hard to move around and really hot. Another day of sore feet but lots of fun.| A cool phone box that we saw when we where walking along. (Not that you could use it) |

The 4th of Oct
Today we went to the London Eye. It was really great to the whole city and get some idea of where things are. It was VERY high up. It was another lovely sunny day today and quite warm - about 16C. So much for dreary English weather.
After the London Eye we walked to Big Ben. Daniel loved seeing the huge clock - he has been dying to go there since we got to London. After that we walked to Westminister Abbey. It was really interesting to see where the Kings and Queens and many other important people were buried. We saw where Isaac Newton, Mary Queen of Scots and Charles Darwon just to name some of them. We had lunch there YUM YUM ! and there
Once we were refuelled we caught a double decker bus up to Trafalgar Square and saw Nelsons Column and saw the huge lions - they really were HUGE! Then we zapped on the tube to Leister Square and went to the movies. A HUGE theatre which holds over 1000 people. It cost a small fortune 82 pound to go! Eeek! Another busy day of fun.

The 3rd of Oct
Today we went to lots of places. First we went to The Tower of London. It was a really fascinating place and we spent a lot of time there. You could have easily spent all day there. It was a lot bigger than we expected, not just a fortress with a tower in the middle but actually heaps of different buildings. The crown jewels were really amazing. It was really neat to see them right up close. All of the crowns and the biggest diamond in the world. Mum brought herself a ring and now she keeps telling us she has some crown jewels!!!
After we finished at the Tower of London we walked across the Tower Bridge which is right beside the Tower of London. We also saw the shard building and later in the day we saw "The Gherkin" We spent about an hour and a half at the "London Dungeon" and Rachel got burnt at the stake as a witch. It was really fun with a log flume in the dark that sends you down backwards, a 4D movie and a freefall drop ride at the end.
We were totally knackered and worn out with mega sore feet by the end of today but managed to walk our way to St Pauls Catheral at about 6.30pm only to find out it had just closed! That was it for us - back on the tube (that was so jam packed at rush hour you could hardly breath let alone find a space to stand). We were so tired by the time we got home we just had a bacon sammie and went to sleep! Another fun day in the city that really does never sleep.

First Day of walking around.
| The closest station to our hotel, about a 3 minute walk. |
| The best Ice Cream I ever did taste. |
Today we went to Buckingham Palace and went inside for the tour. It was really amazing. The photos you see don't show quite how amazing it is. It took about 2 hours to go through the whole tour. After we had been through we had high tea in the Palace Gardens cafe. It was really lovely although a little windy. After that we walked for MILES up to Piccadily Circus and Leicester Square. We ate Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream - YUMMY! We also went shopping at the hugest sports store. There were 6 floors and in the mens shoes there were about 800 different shoes. Just for the mens!!
